What are the lead times for work to start?
After we have conducted a feasibility study, we will plan and schedule the most appropriate course of action. Depending on your needs, size and location of project, we will provide you with an estimated completion date prior to commencing work. We understand that many projects rely on the installation of gas meters or inlet pipework which is why we’re committed to ensuring the process is as efficient as possible. Planning permissions and other necessary approvals may delay work, but we’re here to help push everything through as promptly as possible.
How can I find out when the work is scheduled to commence?
A start date will be agreed with you and a provisional time scale will be provided – this is subject to any restrictions or delays and we will contact you verbally and in writing to confirm that you happy with the arrangements and will also ensure you are still happy for the work to take place ahead of the project.
I currently have gas. Will I be off gas while you complete the works?
When undertaking an alteration or upgrade to an existing supply, a gas interruption is likely. However, if you require your supply to remain constant during the work, please let us know and we will be happy to discuss the options available to you.
What does the feasibility study entail?
Before construction begins, we will carry out a feasibility study in conjunction with the architect, quantity surveyor and you to ensure a quick decision is made regarding the project’s viability. Our dedicated team usually carries out a desk study to examine essential concepts including the likely ground conditions, infrastructure requirements and scheduling and we also work with the statutory authorities to obtain planning permission.
