What are the lead times for work to start?

After we’ve undertake a feasibility study, we will plan and schedule the most appropriate course of action. Depending on your needs, size, and location of the project, we will provide you with an estimated completion date prior to commencing work. We understand that many projects rely on the installation of gas meters or input pipework which is why we’re committed to ensuring the process is as efficient as possible. Planning permissions, and other necessary approvals, may delay work, but we’re here to help push everything through as promptly as possible.

How can I find out when the work is scheduled to commence?

Once we’ve undertaken initial feasibility studies and decided on the most appropriate course of action, a start date will be agreed with you and a provisional time scale will be provided – this is subject to any restrictions or delays of course we’ll contact you verbally and in writing to confirm you’re happy, and also ensure you are still happy for the work to take place ahead of the project.

I currently have gas. Will I be off gas while you complete the works?

When undertaking an alteration or upgrade to an existing supply, a gas interruption is likely, however, if you require your supply to remain constant during the work, please do let us know and we’ll be happy to discuss the options available to you.

What does the feasibility study entail?

Before construction begins, we will carry out a feasibility study in conjunction with the architect, quantity surveyor and you to ensure a quick decision is made with regards the project’s viability. Our dedicated team usually carries out a desk study to examine essential concepts such as the likely ground conditions, infrastructure requirements, and scheduling, and we also work with the statutory authorities to obtain planning permission.
