Adroit Utilities is a Lloyd’s Register GIRS (Gas Industry Registration Scheme) accredited company and, as such, the GIRS accreditation mark represents the achievement of a high technical, quality and safety standard and is recognised by all UK Gas Transporters. Adroit have in house design capabilities including Gasworks 9 and AutoCAD to produce gas infrastructure designs to gain connection approval from all the UK gas transporters.
We hold full accreditation for the following scopes:
- CCCR (Construction, Commissioning, Connections – Routine)
- CNRB (Connections, Non Routine – Basic)
- CNRC (Connections, Non Routine, Complex – Specialist Hot Welding Connections)
- Specialist Large Diameter PE Branch Connections
We deliver a complete service including design, design approvals, laying, testing, connection and commissioning including metering, meter kiosks and gas supply contracts if required, giving the client a complete turnkey solution. Adroit also deliver pipeline services to Bio-Methane, Power Generation and AD Sites, enabling gas injection back into the grid or connection to a power generation site.
Scott Hardy | Operation Director
With over 20 years’ experience in the gas industry, Scott has extensive expertise and knowledge across all gas infrastructure projects. During his career, Scott developed particular skills across low, medium and intermediate pressure networks, including rehabilitation, new networks, district governor & PRS installation. Scot also has knowledge & experience of network design, large diameter branch connections and pipeline intervention / flow stopping. Scott is responsible for the installation of gas networks and all site operations. Prior to launching Adroit Utilities with partner Paul Slater, Scott worked in the water industry, which provides him with a wider perspective of the utilities sector both commercially and domestically. Paul Slater | HESQ & Technical Director
A member of the Institute of Gas Engineers, Paul held a senior role in a FTSE 250 organisation before partnering with Scott to launch Adroit Utilities as HESQ and Technical Director. During his career, Paul has developed an extensive knowledge of all aspects of gas operations, with a vast understanding of health and safety legislation which he utilises in his day-to-day role as HSEQ & Technical Director, Paul is responsible for adhering to UIP requirements in accordance with the GIRS.
